ESTA Chapters provide the opportunity to meet, learn, grow, and enhance the local esports community and grow business in the area.
Each ESTA chapter elects its own board of directors to carry out the organization's objectives on a local level, providing members with programs, events, and vital networking opportunities. ESTA National and ESTA Chapters collaborate to carry out its mission to unify, serve, and ethically advance the business interests and sustainability of the esports industry on a local, national, and international level.

Joining a local chapter is included with ESTA’s membership. If you’re not already a member and you’d like to join an existing chapter near you, join us as a member! Start A Chapter
ESTA Chapters provide the opportunity to meet, learn, grow, and enhance the local esports community and grow business in the area. Each ESTA chapter elects its own board of directors to carry out the organization's objectives on a local level, providing members with programs, events, and vital networking opportunities. Together, the ESTA National and ESTA Chapters can work together to carry out its mission to unify, serve, and ethically advance the business interests and sustainability of the esports industry.

As an ESTA Chapter founder, in order to initiate the chapter application process, you must commit a $1,000 non-refundable application fee to ESTA. The Chapter founder is also responsible for the management of chapter events and recruitment unless a different person has been designated as president for the chapter.
Yes, there is a $1,000 non-refundable application fee.
Your chapter will be going through a 3-month probationary period before reaching official status. After a 3 month probationary period, the official status will be reviewed and determined by the board of directors and ESTA staff.
If the official status is granted, funds from the application fee will be used to host future chapter events.
The application fee is non-refundable.
ESTA shall provide specific services and benefits to the Chapter by:
- Taking all action reasonably necessary to include the Chapter under ESTA's group tax exemption.
- Making available to the Chapter working knowledge and experience of ESTA and its ESTA team in the promotion, development, and preservation of the esports industry.
- Providing support, guidance, and promotion of events and activities.
- Providing opportunities for individuals to participate as members of the ESTA Board of Directors and/or ESTA committees.
- Providing such additional services and benefits to Chapters as ESTA may determine to provide from time to time during the term of the agreement.
ESTA shall make the following benefits and services available to its members:
- All publications published by ESTA relevant to the membership category;
- Access to exclusive programs and information services offered by ESTA;
- Participation in the National Insurance Program of ESTA, as described on Schedule A, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
- Inclusion in the membership renewal benefit communication program and constituent specific email, and such other benefits and services as may be in effect from time to time.
