How did you get started in esports?

I started my career in the video industry in the late 90s. I helped with the transition from physical to digital product. I have always loved this innovative, forward thinking and exciting industry. I see a lot of similarity of the ever changing landscape in the esports industry.

What work have you or your company done within the esports industry?

I am the CEO of a\the strategic digital marketing firm JumpStartNOW that embodies the same innovative, forward thinking and adaptive spirit of the gaming industry. We develop exciting brand strategies and excel in event marketing. We work with event and higher education clients in the esports market.

What is your biggest goal for the year ahead?

My biggest goal is to help organizations educate about the esports market and the opportunities. My firm’s goal is team up with even more esports organizations to offer them the next level of marketing and help them imagine the possibilities.

Which aspect of the esports industry are you passionate about?

That is a long list. What first comes to mind is education, events, technology and innovation.

From your perspective, what would you like to see the esports industry do better?

I would like to see the industry as a whole better education everyone else about the endless possibilities. In my experience, not many people understand esports and what it could do for them.
