Soulja Boy declares esports franchise interest

US rapper Soulja Boy has revealed that he is looking to build his own esports organization, with teams that would compete in Overwatch, Fortnite, Call of Duty and Counterstrike.
Twitch streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has been helping the artist, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, understand the streaming and competitive aspects of the gaming industry and now Way wants to get into the industry.
In an interview with US outlet TMZ, he said: “Honestly, I’m starting a gaming org in 2019. We’re going to be finding and hiring talent, I’m putting together a team for Fortnite, putting together a team for Call of Duty, putting together a team for Overwatch, Counter-Strike, all of that….
