Tell us about your company!

TEXSEF is an educator-run, nonprofit esports league for Texas schools. We believe that esports can be an accessible, inclusive, and equitable path to college and career readiness for all Texas students.

Why did your company get involved in the esports industry?

We believe that esports can be an accessible, inclusive, and equitable path to college and career readiness for all Texas students.

Since your company entered the esports industry, what has been the biggest industry change or trend that you’ve seen?

Everyone we talk to wishes we had existed when they were in school.

What work has the company has already done within the esports industry? What do you see as the company’s biggest win since you started?

In our first year, more than 500 students from over 100 schools have competed with us. We also recently held an Esports College Fair.

How do you plan to dominate the space?

Teacher by teacher, campus by campus.

What would your company like to see the esports industry do better?

More diversity and representation.

What does your company imagine the state of the esports industry will be like in 10 years and where do you imagine your company in that space?

We are not building a company or a league; we are building an institution.
