How 4E Event Games Is Wiring the Creator Economy

David Whiting is CEO and Founder of 4E Event Games Inc. and EqAIEsports.com, a vertically integrated venture studio and technology R&D esports event company. His mission is straightforward: create unforgettable moments by bringing gamers, creatives, and brands together in ways that leave a mark.

Tell us about 4E Event Games and what you’re building.

We’re a vertically integrated venture studio and technology R&D esports event company. The way I describe it: we’re building the high-speed rail for the creator economy. That means developing the infrastructure, the events, and the technology that connects gamers, creatives, and brands — and doing it in a way that scales. Our goal is to create special, unforgettable moments that bring those communities together in meaningful ways.

What events has 4E been behind so far?

Our flagship event was the Las Vegas Gamer Infinity Quest Esports experience at CES 2024, which also incorporated a Gaming & Alternative Investor Forum. The combination was intentional — putting competitive gaming in the same conversation as alternative investment is exactly the kind of collision we want to create. CES gave us a world-class stage to prove out the concept, and being in Las Vegas meant we could draw from a broad mix of attendees who wouldn’t typically find their way to a standalone esports event. It was a strong proof of concept, and it gave us a clear picture of where we want to take things next.

What’s a moment from your events that’s stayed with you?

The CES event taught me a lot about resilience. A co-organizer promised five speakers and delivered one. Rather than let it derail the experience, we found presenters in the audience, I stepped in to support the livestream production, and we kept things moving. It wasn’t the plan — but moments like that sharpen you. The best event operators aren’t just planners, they’re problem solvers in real time.

What has ESTA membership meant for you so far?

We’re about four to five months in, so we’re still early. But already I’ve connected with members who are genuinely interested in collaborating strategically on esports events. That kind of peer access — finding people who are aligned and ready to build together — is exactly what we joined for. We’re looking forward to seeing where those conversations go.
