Chapter Benefits
Esports Trade Association Chapters provide the opportunity to meet, learn, grow, and enhance the local esports community and grow business in the area.
Each chapter elects its own board of directors to carry out the organization's objectives on a local level, providing members with programs, events, and vital networking opportunities. Esports Trade Association and National Chapters collaborate to carry out its mission to unify, serve, and ethically advance the business interests and sustainability of the esports industry on a local, national, and international level.

Joining a local chapter is included with Esports Trade Association membership. If you’re not already a member and you’d like to join an existing chapter near you, join us as a member! Our Chapters provide the opportunity to meet, learn, grow, and enhance the local esports community and grow business in the area. Each chapter elects its own board of directors to carry out the organization's objectives on a local level, providing members with programs, events, and networking opportunities. Together, the Association and local chapters can work together to carry out its mission to unify, serve, and ethically advance the business interests and sustainability of the esports industry.

The Chapter founder is responsible for the management of chapter events, recruitment, and sponsorships unless a different person has been designated as the president/chair or leadership role for the chapter. The chapter shall have a minimum of four (4) chapter meetings or events per year to promote ESTA, including networking and/or educational events for members.
For a chapter to be successful, we recommend a minimum of $2,000 in sponsorships and/or donations per year to cover chapter expenses including recruitment and events. The chapter's leaders are to secure sponsorships for your chapter events.
Your chapter will be going through a 3-month probationary period before reaching official status. After a 3 month probationary period, the official status will be reviewed and determined by the board of directors and ESTA staff.
Esports Trade Association shall provide specific services and benefits to the Chapter by:
- Taking all action reasonably necessary to include the Chapter under the association's group tax exemption.
- Making available to the Chapter the working knowledge and experience of our team in the promotion, development, and preservation of the esports industry.
- Providing support, guidance, and promotion of events and activities.
- Providing opportunities for individuals to participate as members of our Board of Directors and/or our committees.
- Providing such additional services and benefits to Chapters as Esports Trade Association may determine to provide from time to time during the term of the agreement.
Esports Trade Association shall make the following benefits and programs available to its members:
- All publications published by Esports Trade Association relevant to the membership category; and
- Access to exclusive programs and services offered by Esports Trade Association as may be in effect from time to time.
