ESTA Inaugural Conference 2019

Date: TBD

Value Proposition

What we offer is what the industry doesn’t have—a formal structure around which it can deal with the business challenges that all parties face (including streamlined best practices and industry standards) and a united voice to help educate the “outside forces” on what esports is, and, just as importantly, what it is not.

Ultimately, ESTA is the sum of its members. What we provide is management to the organization that can bring these members together collectively to do more than they can do on their own, or in small, disjointed groups. This can include industry research and lobbying, etc. The communication between various interests within esports can’t efficiently lead to concrete and verifiable action outside the structure of a trade association.

2019 Inaugural Conference

ESTA plans to host its Inaugural Conference in late 2019. The event will be the official public launch of ESTA, with the goal of bringing together key stakeholders in the esports industry to network, learn from each other, and discuss the future of esports. We anticipate the event  will be 1-2 days, with approximately 100-300 in attendance.

Title Sponsor

We are seeking a sponsor to provide us with complimentary meeting room space, partial F&B ($5K plus cash bar; i.e. boxed lunch), and partial AV (screen & projector package, podium, mix wireless lavalier/handheld) for our inaugural annual conference. The Esports Trade Association’s mission is to bring together players, teams, leagues, publishers, fans, and others inside and outside the esports space to support and strengthen sustainable growth for the esports industry through shared collaboration, consultation, annual conferences, and professional development opportunities. Originally serving the Fantasy Sports Trade Association for 7+ years, Esports Trade Association founder, Megan Van Petten, was recently featured in a ‘Women in Gaming’ series article posted in USA Today. This inaugural event will include a prominent keynote speaker and an industry round-table discussion that will host esports leaders from around the nation. The esports future is bright and we want to bring esports to Chicago! We are looking for an organization that wants to partner with us and be a part of what we’re doing in the esports industry. We are committed to signing a long-term contract with the right venue.
